The Experience...
Waking up to the sounds of the waves crashing, showering in your outdoor bathroom with a ceiling of brilliant blooming vines, honing your surfing skills, adventuring and nurturing your body and mind with yoga. Watching the sun set over the ocean from a two story hammock with a mock-or cocktail in hand..... and then falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean... it really is a dream.
Skill Levels and Fueling the Body
All levels of Surfers and Yogi's welcome. You just need to want to jump in!
Each day will begin with a coffee and tea bar with fresh fruit and homemade snacks, followed by 3 ovo-vegetarian meals. We will offer a few nights of asado aka meat cooked over an open fire.
The meals are filling and generous, and they will always provide more food if needed.
They make fantastic protein smoothies as well!
Every day will will offer surfing or an adventure/excursion as well as yoga. The choice is yours, no two days will be the same and you can opt out of any activity.
We have a limited number of spot available, by design.
We absolutely loved our small and intimate group last year, full of adventurous, easy going souls.
The Big Why?
Surf and Yoga Adventure Camp will push your boundaries in the best ways possible. Nicaragua is an incredible surfing location and at Still Salty Retreat we are surrounded by amazing opportunities to hike, boat, swim, and see the sights. There are veggie gardens that supply our food and the closest neighbors are cows and the crashing waves.
It is a magical place to dive into your yoga practice y el mar and we couldn't be more excited to be going back again... this time with you! (or maybe, going with you again!)
Pricing:
Extremely limited Singles (aka 2!) early bird gets the worm: $3,100. A private suite, the upper level of a cabana with a private bathroom and king size bed.
Bunked Up: $2,100. A shared downstairs suit. There is an incredible shared outdoor bathroom. Four twin beds can be rearranged to be singles or kings.
When you sign up, let us know if there is someone you would like to room with or let us work our magic.
Note: included in the cost is transportation to and from the airport. The airport to fly into is Managua - Augusto C. Sandino International (MGA) We will suggest flights, and then request your flight information so we can organize everyone to travel together from the airport to Still Salty. En Route to Still Salty we will stop for fuel and supplies and we will encourage everyone to buy substantial snacks and libations. We will have dinner upon arrival to Still Salty, but trust us on this! Bring some extra cash for such things.
Every day there will be the option to surf or do an excursion, with the exception of our group activity which will be a boat-day with wake surfing and beverages in a beautiful spot to watch the sun set, which was phenominal last year!
One of the other days people opted to hike a Volcano, and we've heard that skim boarding down the volcano is and UNREAL experience. This year we are dying to do a horseback ride on the beach as well!
American dollars will work just fine in Nicaragua as will your device charging plugs.
