This jungle living that we will do, in the tree tops, is absolutely one of a kind. Truly we will be living in our most elemental states, suspended in, and supported by the trees.
Who is the ideal guest for this treetop retreat?
Singles. Couples. BFF's.
For this excursion, pricing is per person, because unless you want to stay in the same bed as a travel buddy, everyone will have their own tree house with adjoining bathroom.
Which is to say that you should bring your best-est and come yoga in the trees with us.
Pricing:
We have decided that we love the group that is coming together, and the more the merrier... so in that spirit we are opening up registration AND lowering the price to $2800.
Price is per person. To be paid in full by October 10th.
Housing is a single occupancy tree house with a Queen bed and adjoining bathroom. ***
***if you want to share a bed with another attendee, the price remains the same, but your bed is a little warmer ☺️
There are 3 deluxe tree houses with a king bed and adjoining bathroom, they will be first come first serve for couples.
Note: you are responsible for the cost of your transportation to and from the airport to the retreat center. We will connect everyone via WhatsApp before the trip so that rides can be shared and friendships forged en route if you so choose.
The closest airport to The Dominican Tree House Village is El Catey Samana International (AZS) which is about 1 hour away.
**This airport is not always available.
The next closest is Santo Domingo Las Americas International (SDQ) which is about 2.5 hours.
What kind of activities or experiences do you offer during the retreat to help people 'reset'?
In addition to (optional) yoga twice daily... the beach is a short bike ride away. We will zip line through the tree tops and will explore the local area, either by boat or by horseback and ATV. (This we will decided as a group before departure, and there will be the option to organize extra excursions if there is interest.)
There is the town of El Valle just a bike ride away, and several shops, restaurants and bars on the road that takes you to the beach.
We recommend bringing some extra cash for shopping, tipping, any alcohol or extra excursions, massages etc.
American dollars will work just fine, and so will your device charging plugs.
The beach itself is supposed to be one of the nicest in the Dominican. Secluded with beautiful waves, perfect for swimming or just soaking in the sun.
There will be ample time to retreat to your own space or to mingle with the other campers.
Each day will start with fresh fruit, homemade snack, coffee and tea. Followed by 3 meals, meat and fish will be included, though vegetarians and vegans need not worry. Just let us know of any dietary restrictions when you sign up.
